                                                                 Designed not to trap liquid

During the paint spraying process of construction units and components certain areas must remain
paint free such as sealing surfaces and thread openings.

In order to prevent the ingress of paint or previously used substances into the cavities of the
construction units for a combined protection of both sealing surfaces and threads ranges EP 435,
EP 445 and EP 445 are recommended.

                  • These ranges are manufactured using Premium, Impact-Resistant Nylon 6 for its stability to
withstand temperatures of up to 150° C and pressures of up to 2.5 bar during painting,
                    processing and testing.

                  • A circular sealing rim provides an exeptional sealing effect which within certain limits
                    depresses from liquids.

                  • The drain head design in the hexagonal head allows for the controlled drainage of surplus
liquids therefore preventing unintenional damage to the product during the painting process.
                  • An optional factory fitted sealing ring gives this part an exceptional level of seal and
                    protection.

                  • The hexagon head design allows the plug to be both tightened and removed with either
                    a screwdriver or spanner.

                  • Precise thread section of plug allows clean and easy removal. The special production tool archi-
tecture used by PROTEC prevents any residue being left on the threads or in the bore upon removal.
